Haven't been to the website for a couple weeks and it has changed! Any live365 users out there? How are you guys doing navigating the site? Want to give a gal some tips on how to get around better? It seems really different! I can't even find the area for my presets or favorites. Thanks all!
Live365 is a easy site to navagate. I use Live365 to listen to Y100rocks.com. Y100 was an alternative rock station in Philadelphia. It is no longer on the FM dial.
Ok, well can you help me out with some more info. When you first get to the home page -- live365.com -- where do you go from there? I can't find a link or button for my presets or favorites. I appreciate the help.
Well, I have an acount on Live365. Whenever I go to the site, I'm automaticly signed in.
I agree there's a lot on that site and it can get a bit confusing. I use jaws and use the jaws find feature for things like favorites etc. That's insert+ctrl+f, to type in the thing to look for, and f3 to find the next instance or shift+f3 to find the previous instance of the characters you are looking for. Sorry, I don't remember the window-eyes command, but I do remember that there is a find function--I seem to remember that gw micro came up with it first.
Hope this helps.

Mmm, sure has changed. I don't like the new look of it, either.
Tyr, thank you. I thought I was going crazy! No one else seemed to notice the change. I've now saved a link to the presets page, but I'm having problems playing with the player 365....oy! Anyone used the radio 365?
Nope. I just change my preferences to play all my selections in Winamp.
Radio365, isn't that the one that live365 sells? If so, then I've tried it and found it rather difficult to navigate. The free live365 player, though, is fairly easy to operate, and you can turn the volume up and down without effecting your screen reader's volume. Both real player and windows media player seem to effect the performance of your screen reader.
I have had problems with jaws a few times when I shut down live365 (you get this windows message, "do you really want to do this", or something), and when you hit ok jaws dies and will not be revived short of a reboot. Ah well, it doesn't happen often, but don't panic if it happens to you, just reboot and go on.
Hope this helps.

Well, it's all too weird. These changes haven't fully come about with my laptop, and my old shortcut still works. As for my desktop, I've downloaded the radio, and it's a challenge, but doable. Window eyes seems to interact with it better than jaws. Thanks for all your in put. I appreciate it!
Live365 used to keep you from going to the menus while playing a station. So, you can't add a station to your favorites. But, I used ctrl+d to add the station to the bottom of my favorites, and one of my favorite stations comes up when I select it. I, therefore, bypass the selection of favorites and selecting one before I can listen.
Thanks,
Bob
Earlier I said that live365 was pretty useable with jaws, well...it used to be. Today when I signed in and got ready to listen, I got a screen that said download live365player, and I did. Everything looks the same, but now, when I turn up or down my volume, or mute it, my eloquence speech is effected too.
I'm bringing this topic back to the top because I'm to lazy to create a new one.
I am an avid live365 user but it's really tricky to navigate.
I was just wondering if anyone else used it and liked it or hated it, and what your experiences might have been.
Thanks.
Bob
I haven't been to the actual website for ages. I have a link on my desktop for my fave station, then I go from there to cycle through my presets. I still have the radio365 on my desktop pc and it works just fine. I'll run over to the website though to pass on my experience.
Other than the changes in the past year, I still ove the concept! $6 a month and I get to listen to music I'd never find on ordinary radio or satilite. Well, that isn't completely true, but much more veriety of the style I like on 365...smile!
